Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba urged the government and the Catholic Church to condemn the killing of a Baggao mayoral candidate’s aide.
Communist rebels allegedly shot Jomar Alonzo four times after he refused to pay the “campaign fee” of the New Peoples’ Army.
Alonzo is a relative and driver of Baggao mayoral candidate Arnold Alonzo.
