Mountain Province Governor Bonifacio Lacwasan Jr called on government agencies to be more transparent in implementing the national government’s anti-communism projects to avoid redundancies.
The Mountain Province politiko said agencies should coordinate with local government units so that public funds will not be wasted.
Lacwasan said public funds can be used for other projects if there are no duplications.
“We want to maximize the use of whatever available funds of local governments and concerned government agencies,” he said.
Lacwasan he wants “all the identified interventions will be realized and for conflict-stricken areas to achieve the desired lasting peace, a catalyst for sustainable growth and development.”
