Mountain Province Governor Bonifacio Lacwasan recently led the groundbreaking of four road projects under the Department of the Interior and Local Government-Conditional Matching Grants to Provinces (DILG-CMGP).
The projects include the upgrading of the Abatan-Bagnen Provincial Road worth P24 million, the Ampawilen-Sadanga Provincial Road worth P24 million, the Talubin-Can-eo Provincial Road worth 24 million, and the Guinzadan-Banao-Andanum Provincial Road worth P21.7 million.
Lacwasan lauded the DILG for funding the projects.
Provincial Engineer Edward Likigan said the provincial government needed to comply with stringent requirements before the projects were approved.
“The requisites for the grant are quite stringent. Almost all offices in the provincial government were involved in accomplishing the requirements before the projects were implemented,” Likigan said.
