Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino III on January 19 ordered the province’s Task Force ASF to contain the spread of African Swine Fever in the province.
The Pangasinan politiko made the directive during an emergency meeting.
New cases of ASF in Binmaley and Malasiqui have been reported this year.
Espino said he wants a thorough probe of individuals who may be responsible for the new cases.
Pangasinan’s pork products were just declared ASF-free last December.
