Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas called on the province’s chief executives to establish quarantine facilities in each of their localities.
The Benguet politiko said the quarantine facilities should be used to house overseas Filipino workers (OFW) and residents returning to the province.
Diclas said not all those returning to Benguet will be able to quarantine facilities provided by the national government or at Teachers Camp in Baguio.
He lamented that some returning OFWs returned to their towns without undergoing a 2-week quarantine in the facilities.
La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said the town has already established a quarantine facility at Benguet State University.
