Defeated vice presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos’ cousins, House Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Representative Martin Romualdez and his wife Tingog Representative Yedda Romualdez, distributed gift packs on September 13 to celebrate the Ilocos Norte politiko’s birthday.
Marcos turned 63 on Sunday.
The couple gave gift packs coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients and 191 health workers in Tacloban City.
“In celebration of Sen. Bongbong’s birthday, we are reminded to give back to the people, especially the medical frontliners and COVID-19 patients who were victimized by this pandemic. They continue to face the brunt of impact of the coronavirus and this gift giving is a simple message that as their representatives, we support them, and we are here for them,” the Romualdezes said.
“We commit to aid our kababayans in ways that we can. The times may be uncertain and difficult but our spirit of service to the people shall persist,” they added.
