The Dy political dynasty has dominated the May 13 elections in Isabela, with nine members winning their executive or local races.
Leading the pack is outgoing Governor Bojie who won as vice governor.
His son, Inno Dy, was elected as the first representative of Isabela’s 6th District.
San Manuel Mayor Faustino Michael Dy, meanwhile, was elected the first representative of the 5th District.
The 5th and 6th District are newly created districts of Isabela.
Meanwhile, Alicia Mayor Ian Dy, Bojie’s nephew, was elected as 3rd District Representative.
His other son, Kiko Dy, was reelected as Echague mayor.
Cauayan City Mayor Bernard Dy also won his reelection.
Bojie’s brothers Manuel “King” Dy and Dondon Dy also won as San Manuel mayor and 5th District Board Member respectively.
His nephew, Benben Dy, was elected Cabatuan councilor.
