Senatorial bets closely associated with President Rodrigo Duterte saw their rankings rise in the latest Pulse Asia survey on the 2019 elections, with the exception of Ilocos Norte governor Imee Marcos.
Survey results showed Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte improving her ranking from fourth to seventh place in March to third to fifth place during the polling period in June.
Also included in the so-called “Magic 12” list of winning senatorial candidates is Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, who place between fifth to 12th.
Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go saw his ranking rise from between 28th to 38th in the previous polling period to between 23rd to 31st.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque now ranks between 25th to 33rd place, an improvement from his previous place of 27th to 36th.
Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson’s rank jumped from between 39th to 56th from June’s 40th to 56th.
The lone politiko associated with Duterte who did not enjoy any gain in the survey results was Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, who fell off the “Magic 12.”
From ranking between fifth to 12th, Imee’s currently placed between 13th to 20th if the elections were held during the survey period of June 15 to 21.
