DPWH unveils new 916m road in San Fabian, Pangasinan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has unveiled a newly completed project in Pangasinan that is expected to boost its agriculture and tourism.

DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel Tan reported the completion of the 916-meter road project in Barangay Bolaoen in San Fabian, citing that it will provide a faster and safer route from farms to markets (FMR).

“With the new road, travel time from Barangay Bolaoen to the town proper of San Fabian, Pangasinan is reduced from one hour to just 30 minutes, helping farmers and residents deliver their local produce with reduced transport costs,” he said.

Meanwhile, DPWH Pangasinan Second District Engineer Edita Manuel added that the said the FMR will also boost the local tourism, especially the town’s San Fabian Beach.
