The Department of Health (DOH) in the Ilocos Region has logged 24 new cases of COVID-19 from January 29 to February 4.
According to DOH-1’s latest data, this brings the average daily cases to three, or 17.2 percent lower compared to the previous week. Out of the 24 new cases, two were tagged as severe or critical.
The regional DOH also reported two deaths in the previous week.
Meanwhile, local health facilities remained operating at a “safe” level, with 18 of 192 intensive care unit (ICU) beds set aside for suspect, probable, and confirmed cases.
