Senator Dick Gordon on January 3 urged Cordillerans to work together in order to “fine-tune” the proposed bill creating the Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba-Tublay Development Authority (BLISTTDA).
Gordon made the statement during the public consultation for BLISTTDA’s creation.
He said Cordillera’s leaders should provide the vision needed for the development of the region.
“Ang leader sasabihin na gagawin natin ito. People must be part of the process of change. But change must happen,” Gordon said.
“And it is up to the leader to show that is where we’re going. And if you want to fine-tune it, fine-tune it. But everybody must be on the same page,” he added.
