Former senator Bongbong Marcos lauded Senator Tito Sotto for his expose on the alleged electoral fraud in the 2016 elections.
Sotto, in his privilege speech on March 6, called for a probe into alleged cheating in the 2016 polls.
The Senate Majority Leader, citing a “concerned and impeccably reliable” source, said he has evidence of early transmission of votes and foreign access to election servers.
The Ilocos Norte politiko’s lawyer Vic Rodriguez, in a statement, congratulated Sotto for “bringing the election anomalies to the attention of the public.”
Marcos also Sotto has “seen the extent of the conspiracy, interference and manipulation of the election results by Smartmatic and have begun to speak out.”
“Former Senator Bongbong Marcos is happy that he is no longer a voice in the wilderness,” Rodriguez said.
