Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said medical frontliners deserve to get their booster shots against the coronavirus.

The Ilocano politiko said in a Facebook post on Tuesday, September 7, said a third COVID-19 vaccine dose would help prevent health workers from getting a serious infection of the virus.

“Dumarami ang mga health workers na tinatamaan ng COVID-19 kaya’t isinusulong natin ang booster shots para sa kanila,” said Marcos.

“Kailangan nating palakasin ang kanilang hanay dahil sila ang ating inaasahan sa panahong ito ng pandemya,” he added.
