Cagayan Coast Guard has rescued four people after their boat was swamped with water on Tuesday, March 21.
According to the Coast Guard District North East Luzon, MB Kiray was found adrift in the waters off Palaui Island in Cagayan’s Santa Ana town on Monday afternoon.
Passengers of the boat said that they were on their way to Babuyan Claro when a five-foot-long dolphin accidentally hit its starboard bow, causing the boat to nearly sink.
All four passengers of the MB Kiray were brought to safety, the Coast Guard said.
