Buwan lang ang binilang: Isko Moreno quits as chair of North Luzon Railways Corp.
Former Manila vice mayor Isko Moreno has resigned as chairman and member of the board of directors of the North Luzon Railways Corporation.
In a letter sent Friday (October 27) to President Rodrigo Duterte, Moreno, whose real name is Francisco Domagoso, said he is resigning irrevocably for “personal reason.”
Moreno added that his resignation is effective immediately.
“I am truly honored and deeply grateful for the opportunity to have served under your administration. The experience I have gained is indeed enriching and has taught me valuable knowledge about the dynamics of national government, specifically running a government-owned and controlled operation,” he told Duterte.
The President appointed Moreno, a defeated senatorial candidate in the 2016 elections, as chair of the NLRC in July.
