Bontoc provides face masks, hand sanitizers to gov’t workers

Bontoc Mayor Franklin Odsey said the municipal government has provided face masks and hand sanitizers to its workers to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID19).

The Mountain Province politiko said workers located at the municipal hall, municipal police station, and municipal fire station were given the medical supplies.

Also given face masks and hand sanitizers are workers of national government agencies with offices located in front of the Tabuk municipal hall.

These include the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Commission on Election (Comelec), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) – Mountain Province, and Municipal Local Government Operations Office.

“Our frontliners and employees deserve the support and the protection that we could muster because they are exposed to the health risk,” Odsey said.
