Authorities have discovered the decomposing remains of a woman in a vacant lot in Tuguegarao City on Tuesday, May 23.
Police have identified the victim as Jasmin Grace Casale, 21, resident of Barangay Atulayan Norte. According to initial reports, a concerned citizen reported the tip to the authorities.
The victim’s family told the police that Casale was supposed to meet someone on Saturday, May 20. After failing to return home, they launched an appeal on social media the following day.
Police said that the victim could have been killed somewhere else and was dumped in the area where she was found.
