For the second time, Abra Rep. Joseph Bernos tested positive for COVID-19.
As advised by his doctors, Bernos said he is currently undergoing home quarantine, “isolated from the rest of my family who, by the grace of God, have all tested negative.”
“I have been fully vaccinated with a booster shot and exhibited mild symptoms of the disease,” he said in a statement.
He urged the public to continue observing health protocols and get vaccinated when available.
“Please include me in your prayers and for all people affected by this dreaded disease,” he added.
Bernos also contracted COVID-19 in March 2021.
