Baguio City Mayor-elect Benjamin Magalong said “traffic experts” from the Metro Manila Development Authority will be studying how to decongest the Summer Capital.
The Baguio politiko said the MMDA team will conduct the study on the second or third week of July.
Magalong explained that the MMDA team will use their traffic simulation software to identify possible solutions to traffic jams in Baguio.
He added that he wants to address the imbalance in the number of vehicles plying major thoroughfares in the city.
“Traffic is a big issue that must be addressed by scientific interventions and not by mere observations alone,” Magalong said.
