Benguet politikos on December 27 remembered the late Representative Nestor Fongwan Sr as one of the province’s influential leaders.
Tublay Mayor Armando Lauro said Fongwan knew how to get his audience’s attention during speeches.
“So, before he spoke, he whipped out his comb and in true blue Fongwan fashion, combed his hair which caused the whole room to roar in laughter,” Lauro said.
Governor Melchor Diclas vowed to keep Fongwan’s legacy alive.
“We will continue your legacy and we will not forget what you’ve done,” he said.
