Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. remains concerned over the spike in dengue cases in the country.
On Thursday, August 22, the politiko issued three tips Filipinos can follow to avoid getting dengue. First is to throw away stagnant water, where dengue-carrying mosquitos lay their eggs. Second, Marcos said the public should always put on some mosquito repellant. And third, should a person begin showing symptoms of dengue, consult a doctor immediately.
“The best solution is prevention and we should all start with ourselves,” said Marcos.
“Help prevent dengue with these simple steps that you can follow in your own homes!” he added.
