Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is urging Filipinos to register as voters for the 2022 elections.
The Ilocano politiko made the appeal in an Instagram post on Tuesday, June 29.
“Huwag sayangin ang karapatang bumoto dahil ito ang huhugis sa kinabukasan nating lahat tungo sa mabilis na pagbangon mula sa pandemya. Magparehistro na!” said Marcos.
The scion of the Marcos clan knows all too well just how crucial every vote can be. He had filed an electoral protest against Vice President Leni Robredo, whom he accused of cheating in the 2016 elections.
The Supreme Court already junked Marcos’ case, but he has filed an appeal.
