Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. urged Muslim Filipinos to be “steadfast” in their beliefs as they commemorated Eid’l Adha.
This was the Ilocano politiko’s message for the Muslim’s festival of sacrifice on Friday, July 31.
“For Muslims, Eid’l Adha celebrates the completion of a spiritual journey and serves to remind everyone of the value of sacrifice. May you be steadfast in your beliefs, as you aspire to be better individuals,” Marcos said.
“I wish you a meaningful celebration of this blessed festival. Eid mubarak!” he added.
