Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was overjoyed after seeing the Warays in Tacloban City on July 5.
The politiko said they continue to show how strong they are after Super Typhoon Yolanda destroyed Tacloban in 2013.
“I was so happy to see all the Warays, visitors and family, after the devastation of #Yolanda. It just goes to show that sunshine does not only come from the sky but also from the heart,” said Marcos.
“Your light will always shine as you march towards full recovery. Let the world now see for themselves kung gaano katibay ang dugo nating mga Waray. In the face of all difficulties, we will always smile and remain the happiest people of the world. Maupay nga Patron to the happiest people!” he added.
