Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said the Qu’ran’s teachings on patience and sacrifice is “valuable” to all Filipinos, regardless of their religion.
This was the Ilocano politiko’s message as the Muslim community marked the start of Ramadan on Tuesday, April 13.
“We greet our Muslim brothers and sisters on this Ramadan. The lessons of patience and sacrifice of the Qur’an embodied by Ramadan are valuable teachings to all Filipinos, Muslims and non-Muslims alike,” Marcos said on Instagram.
“I wish you and your families a blessed holy month,” he added.
