Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. met with Japanese Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy Naokazu Takemoto on Thursday, January 16.
The Ilocano politiko and the Japanese official discussed how Japanese technology can help develop industries in the Philippines.
“At a breakfast meeting with Japanese Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy Naokazu Takemoto, I had the opportunity to explore with him the many ways that Japanese technology could be brought to the Philippines to help improve various sectors. Our discussion ranged from agriculture to power generation to arts and culture,” Marcos said.
“We are grateful that the Japanese government remains committed to helping our country achieve our development goals. Arigatou Gozaimasu!” he added.
