Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is amazed by the spirit of resilience shown by Tacloban residents five years since Super Typhoon Yolanda hit Eastern Visayas.

This was part of Marcos’ message on the 5th anniversary of Yolanda on Thursday, November 8.

“The amazing resilience and recovery shown by our affected kababayans through the years serves as an inspiration to us all and a reminder of the Filipino’s ability to conquer any challenge together. Never give up! Always find hope, even in the face of insurmountable odds,” said Marcos.

“Whenever I go there to visit, I am always greeted by smiles and friendliness that are truly heartening. It is proof that no storm or calamity will ever dampen the Filipino spirit,” he added.
