It’s a rainy weekend in Northern Luzon due to Typhoon Maring.
In the latest weather bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), over 17 areas will be placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1.
According to the agency, almost the whole Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will experience light to moderate rains due to the typhoon with international name Kompasu.
This include Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, the northern portion of Benguet (Buguias, Bakun, Kibungan, Mankayan), Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur.
Pagasa also alerted the residents to be cautious and be always updated with the latest news.
