The Baguio city government has made an advanced payment worth P18 million for Astrazeneca vaccines.
The Summer Capital has ordered 380,000 doses of the anti-coronavirus disease (COVID19) vaccine.
Around 190,000 adults will need to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity in Baguio.
City Administrator Bonifacio dela Peña said Baguio’s 30 vaccination sites are already prepared for the vaccination rollout.
But he admitted that the arrival of the vaccines will be delayed.
