Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. agreed with the proposal to revive the Nutribun program of his late father to help address malnutrition caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ilocano politiko said this in a Facebook post on Thursday, July 30.
Nutribuns are a type of bread that looks like the classic pan de sal but has a higher nutritional value. It was distributed to grade school students in the 1970s when Bongbong’s father, the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos Sr., was still the president.
