Kalinga Representative Allen Jesse Mangaoang expressed his dismay over the delays in the passage of bills caused by the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic.
The Kalinga politiko said many pending national and local bills have been pushed back because of the situation.
Mangaoang said among the bills affected are the establishment of the Kalinga Sports training Center, the upgrading of the status of elementary and high schools, the conversion of local to national roads, and the conversion of the Kalinga Provincial Hospital and the Northern Cordillera Regional Hospital.
He said Congress is already rushing the passage of the priority bills of the Duterte administration.
Mangaoang called on his constituents for patience amid the ongoing crisis.
