Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Oscar Albayalde said Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong can still request for security personnel from the PNP.
This after the Baguio politiko earlier revealed that he was warned of death threats against him by his friends.
Magalong has accused Albayalde of intervening in the dismissal of 13 “ninja” cops.
But Albayalde said Magalong has administrative control of the Baguio City Police Office since he is mayor.
“If he needs permanent or regular security, he can always write us, even direct, request directly to me and PSPG (Police Security and Protection Group), so he can get permanent security,” Albayalde said.
