Senator Imee Marcos congratulated the Filipino athletes who brought home the bacon during the 2023 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games).
The North Luzon politiko praised Team Philippines for bringing home 58 gold medals, 85 silver medals, and 117 bronze medals.
“Congratulations sa ating #TeamPhilippines sa kanilang tagumpay sa nagdaang SEA Games 2023 na ginanap sa bansang Cambodia,” Marcos said in a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 24.
“Mabuhay ang mga atletang Pilipino na nakapag-uwi ng 58 medalya na gold, 85 na silver at 117 na bronze. Proud kaming lahat sa inyo!” she added.
