300 Dengue cases logged in Tuguegarao

Tuguegarao City logged most cases of Dengue in the whole Cagayan Region, the Department of Health reported.

Dr. Rhea Daquilan, Officer in Charge at the Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported that as of today, they have logged 2,477 Dengue cases in the region. However, she assured that the number is still considered to be at the epidemic level.

She noted that Tuguegarao recorded 300 cases, followed by the towns of Lasam (201), Solana (202), Tuao (200), Baggao (190), Gattaran (187), Piat (129) and Aparri (103).

In an advisory released by the Cagayan Provincial Information Office, six have died due to Dengue in the province.
