18th Congress off to a good start for Tonypet Albano

Isabela First District Representative Antonio “Tonypet” Albano ain’t getting any first day blues!

The politiko said he was thankful he did not get any jitters when the 18th Congress opened session on July 22.

On that day, Albano cast his vote and the vote of his father, LPGMA Representative Rodolfo Albano Jr., for Taguig City-Pateros Representative Alan Peter Cayetano as Speaker.

“The very first day of the 18th congress, in our 1st plenary session, my first ever podium, the number podium is perfect at 8, and the vote was historic as I jokingly said, ‘Two (Albano) votes for Speaker Allan Peter Cayetano,'” said Albano.

He said he is scheduled to deliver his first privilege speech as a congressman on Monday, July 29.

“My only prayer is for God to give me wisdom to be able to speak His will and His words. God bless us all,” said Albano.
