Baguilat ‘burns’ Roque: Congrats, you don’t need to pretend anymore

Oct 28, 2017 @ 13:38

Ifugao Rep. Teddy Brawner Baguilat Jr. served up backhanded congratulations to Kabayan partylist Rep. Harry Roque on the latter’s appointment as the new spokesperson of President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Congratulations to our colleague Harry Roque,” said the Magnificent 7 leader.

“As a self-proclaimed Human Rights advocate, I wish him luck in defending the horrendous Human Rights Record of this administration,” Baguilat said.

“The appointment also releases him from the challenge of masquerading as a minority leader,” he added.

Roque is a deputy minority leader in the minority bloc, which is known to defend most of the administration policies.

Duterte announced on Friday he was appointing Roque as his new spokesman. Roque said he has accepted the President’s offer.
