Toff de Venecia wants you to eat pigar-pigar!

Pangasinan 4th District Representative Christopher “Toff” de Venecia is recommending another dish for you to try in Dagupan City!

The politiko posted a picture of the famed pigar-pigar, a street food made from carabao meet with 40% less cholesterol and 55% fewer calories than beef.

“The word ‘pigar-pigar’ is a Pangasinense term for ‘turning over as this famous viand is cooked by consistently turning over the carabeef strips with oil and salt and pepper,” said De Venecia.

“After 10-15 minutes of sauteing the meat, freshly chopped onions and cabbage are added to finish off this culinary delight,” he added.
