Ting vows stipends for students despite free tuition implementation

Dec 12, 2017 @ 17:28

Cagayan 3rd District Representative Randy Ting on November 25 vowed that he will still provide stipends for his students under his RST Scholarship Program.

The Cagayan politiko’s move comes as the government seeks to implement free tuition in public schools.

“P14 million nakalagak sa Cagayan State University, kagaya nung pangako nung nakaraan, eh gusto kong madagdagan ‘yung inyong stipend, nag-usap po kami ng CSU,” he said.

Ting said he requested for an additional P10 million for students who will not be covered by the free tuition scheme.
