Pinaasa raw! Gov Marcos: SSS pensioners have right to be upset over delayed pension hike

May 28, 2018 @ 14:56

Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, in her Bulgar column, said Social Security System pensioners have all the right to be upset if there is truth to the rumors that the P1,000-increase in pension will be postponed.

President Rodrigo Duterte approved the release of the P1,000 pension last February 2017.

An additional P1,000-increase is expected to be released before Duterte’s term ends in 2022.

Marcos called on the government to release the remaining P1,000-increase soon.
