Pangasinan provincial board commends Alcala for being declared drug-free
The Pangasinan provincial board commended the Alcala municipal government for being declared drug-free.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency earlier declared Alcala as a drug-free community.
Board Member Clemente Arboleda Jr, author of the resolution, said it is important for a municipality or a city to be declared as free from illegal drugs.
Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim said the provincial board will also commend other municipalities in Pangasinan for being declared drug-free.
Earlier declared drug-free were Mabini, Agno, Anda, Alaminos City, Bolinao, Bani, Dasol, Mapandan, Malasiqui, Sto. Tomas, Laoac, Natividad and San Nicolas.#
