Mission accomplished! Marcoses rejoice over Ilocos 6’s freedom

Jul 25, 2017 @ 22:19

Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos braved going to the turf of her political enemy House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas just to get freedom for the 6 local officials.

Marcos finally testified before the House committee on good government and public accountability on Tuesday, July 25.

It seems to be a morale boost for the so-called “Ilocos 6,” because they were also able to finally answer Fariñas’ questions on their signature on the documents used to purchase P66.45 million worth of motor vehicles using tobacco funds.

The committee let them go and of course, they travelled back in style with the Marcoses.

“Free at last! Thank you to these 6 for standing up for Ilocos Norte,” said Ilocos Norte 2nd District Provincial Board Member Matthew Marcos-Manotoc.
