Mayor Medrano: Warnings signs installed along Padsan river to prevent drowning
The Sarrat municipal government has cautioned residents about swimming in the Padsan river this summer season.
Sarrat Mayor Remigio Medrano on April 10 said the municipal government has installed warning signages along Padsan river to prevent drowning.
“By putting on warning signs, we hope to prevent drowning incidents in the river,” Medrano said.
“Due to quarrying, there are portions of the river that suddenly becomes deep. These will be off-limits to picnickers,” he added.
Medrano also called on residents to help monitor those swimming in the river to prevent accidents.
