Mayor Domogan announces 5-day suspension of classes in Baguio for Batang Pinoy Finals
Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan has announced the suspension of classes in all levels on September 17 to 21.
The class suspension is to pave way for the conduct of the Batang Pinoy National Finals in the city.
Several public schools in the Summer Capital will be used as billeting areas by delegations from all over the country.
“We deemed it necessary to suspend the classes in the pre-school to senior high school levels to allow our youth to witness the conduct of the week-long sports competition that will be hosted by our city for the first time,” Domogan said.
“We also want our youth to cheer for our participating athletes considering that Baguio City is the defending champion of the Batang Pinoy games,” the Baguio politiko said.
