Mangaoang inaugurates bridge linking Kalinga to Mountain Province
Kalinga Representative and Mountain Province Legislative Caretaker Allen Jesse Mangaoang on August 7 has inaugurated Malanas Bridge, which physically links the two Cordillera provinces.
The Kalinga politiko said the construction of Malanas Bridge was the initiative of the late Mountain Province Representative Maximo Dalog.
Mangaoang said Malanas Bridge is a symbol of unity between the two provinces.
He added that he hopes it will strengthen ties between communities and boost regional development.
“Let the bridge serve its purpose. Bridges are built to connect places and people. Bridges are not meant for parking and for other activities that may weaken its foundation”, he said.
