Ilocos Norte eyes 6 ambulance units from PCSO
The Ilocos Norte provincial board has approved a resolution authorizing Governor Imee Marcos to ask for six units of ambulance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Ilocos Norte Board Member Rogelio Balbag said the ambulance of the district hospitals in the province need to be replaced soon.
Balbag said most ambulances in the hospitals are either non-functional or dilapidated.
The Ilocos Norte politiko also said the provincial government has alloted P3 million from the provincial development fund for the purchase of the six ambulance units.
The provincial government last received ambulance units from the PCSO last December.
