Gov Marcos: BBM protest will force Marcos family member to run for senator

Mar 12, 2018 @ 13:45

Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos said a member of the Marcos clan will be “forced” to run for national office because her brother’s electoral protest has not yet been resolved.

The Ilocos Norte politiko, according to a Rappler article, made the statement during the 15th Liga ng Mga Barangay-Cagayan Congress in Clark, Pampanga.

She also recalled former senate president Juan Ponce Enrile’s wish to have another senator coming from the “Solid North” provinces.
