Gov Espino’s cousin elected as SK Federation president of Pangasinan
A member of Pangasinan’s Espino political clan has been elected as Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation president of the province.
Jerome Vic Espino, a cousin of Governor Amado Espino III, is the new SK Federation President.
His father was a former Liga ng mga Barangay president while his mother is an administrative officer of the Bautista municipal government.
Espino said there is pressure to live up to the family name.
“I thank my colleagues for voting for me. I know that they recognized and trusted our family because they know that we are hard workers and are dignified in the name of public service,” he said.
“Governor Espino told me not to thank him, but rather to work hard and do my best,” Espino added.
