Gov. Baac raises white flag for suspension order
Kalingan Governor Jocel Baac on Tuesday, June 13, accepted the 6-month suspension order imposed upon him by the Office of the Deputy Ombudsman for North Luzon.
The politiko was punished for attacking dzRK radio announcer Jerome Tabanganay last year in the latter’s radio both. Baac hit the reporter with a microphone on the idea, and the incident was recorded on video.
Vice Governor James Edduba then took his oath as acting governor, while lawyer Shirlynne Alunday will be acting vice governor.
