Francis Tolentino: Banaue rice terraces is ‘enduring’ tourism site
Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs Francis Tolentino on June 25 described the Banaue Rice Terraces as an “enduring” tourism site of the country.
The Cavite politiko made the remark during the 52nd Grand Gotad celebration.
The defeated senatorial candidate said he is optimistic Ifugao will become a word-class tourist destination soon.
“It represents the country’s enduring charm as an important world-class travel destination,” he said.
Tolentino also quoted President Rodrigo Duterte in his speech.
“May these gatherings of traditional dances and songs, exquisite food, and other crafts spark unity among you, as you envision a better and more inclusive growth for your province and the rest of Cordillera,” he said.
