For Bongbong Marcos, dad’s ‘legacy lives on’
Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will always look up to his father.
The politiko dedicated an Instagram post to the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. on Friday, September 28, the latter’s death anniversary.
The younger Marcos posted a photo containing a quote of his dad. The text goes: “History may not record what we say. But it will record what we do. Let us now discard the pernicious habits of the past.
Marcos then wrote on his caption, “Your legacy lives on. #PFM101.”
The family patriarch died at the age of 72 in Honolulu, Hawaii due to ailments on his kidneys, heart, and lungs. The Marcoses went on exile in Hawaii after the 1986 People Power Revolution that ended the Marcos dictatorship.
